It gets really boring staying at home all the time. I think Joe has cabin fever. Today we went for an outing. We drove out to the Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery. It’s about 15 miles or so west of Sisters, OR. It was really fun!
When we got there we had a picnic. The boys always seem to love picnics. Then we wandered around the fish hatchery. And we fed the fish. The fish went CRAZY! Especially the Rainbow Trout. They would flip out of the water and we’d actually get wet from the spray. Here’s the boys and me feeding them. (I swear, my hands still smell like fish food and I’ve washed them with soap a few times since!)

And the Metolius River was so pretty and clear and blue. I’m sure if Joe felt able he would have been whipping around his fly fishing pole trying to catch some fish in the river.

The sad part of the trip is that we passed through Sisters and I didn’t stop at The Stitchin’ Post. I really wanted to but I don’t have money to spend on fabric right now. But it’s good to know that the drive to Sisters from my house is less than anĀ hour. Doesn’t seem so far away now.
