We finally tried out our snow shoes.
It was a lot of fun…and a lot of work!
Joe, Sai and I have snow shoes. However, Jay and Sophie don’t. They got to ride in a sled that Joe pulled.
The scenery was beautiful!
We even saw some wild life.
We took a snack break.
Then the kids played in the snow.
We took off our snow shoes…
Then tried to walk through the snow. I ended up knee-deep in the snow. Joe ended up hip-deep in the snow. Those snow shoes really do work!

The snowshoes look awesome! Where did you guys go? I went cross country skiing for the first time this year. Made a fool of myself by spending more time having fallen down than I did skiing. Maybe I should try snow shoes next time.
