Dear Santa

Sai’s letter to Santa:

Dear Santa

How are your reindeer? You live in the North Pole in a hut.

Lego. Dinosaurs. Transformers.

Love (heart) Sai

Isn’t it so cute? It was Sai’s idea. He came to me for help in writing his letter. He told me what he wanted to say and I would write it on a paper and he would copy it. (We started with me slowly spelling it out loud but that got old fast, plus that’s how “dear” ended up as “bear”.) Oh, and he wrote Transformers copying the writing on the DVD, that’s why it is all boxy.

Then I had to write a letter for Jay. Jay told me what to write. Then he “wrote” on it. We got them stuffed in an envelope and it’s ready to drop in the mail tomorrow.

Pretty simple requests at this age, even if they have their minds made up. At least it is not a Wii or play station, yet… Glad you liked the fat quarters – they looked like you. And there is a gift receipt if the fleece does not fit. DId they get the lights up and were the boys excited? Sorry they aren’t the LED kind, but hey, they are from that magical garage of goodies. Sometimes my compulsiveness to buy does pay off!

Oh how wonderful!! My niece wrote her letter to Santa, and we have a little mailbox at the post office here you can drop it into…and she got one back from Santa!! Now I want to write one too…

If you do drop them in the mail…you should send a copy of the original instead…that way you can keep it because it’s so danged cute! And, would’t it be great to show them to him someday?
